Two independent, licensed clinics. One coordinated program.
Your procedure takes place at a licensed clinical partner facility in Tijuana, Baja California or Tulum, Quintana Roo. Your case is reviewed before either location is on the table.
Which location applies to you depends on your proposed protocol, physician availability, the complexity of your case, and what you can realistically travel for. Your care consultant makes that recommendation, not a booking page.
All procedures are performed by independent, licensed providers. Aurenza coordinates, evaluates, and follows up, but does not deliver medical care.

Tijuana
A short border crossing from San Diego, inside an established medical district with well-equipped clinical facilities.
- Fly into
- San Diego (SAN)
- Ground transfer
- Coordinated cross-border drive
- Time zone
- Pacific
- Typical stay
- 1–2 nights
Tijuana is the most direct option for most patients. You fly into San Diego International Airport, and a coordinated ground transfer brings you across the border to the clinic. The drive is short, the route is familiar to the partner facility's own drivers, and there is no second flight to manage on either end of the trip.
Because the crossing is so short, Tijuana suits patients who want to keep total travel time down: those managing pain that makes long travel days difficult, those traveling with a spouse or adult child who has limited time off, and those who prefer to be back on US soil the same day as their procedure if the protocol allows it.
The medical district around the clinic is dense with pharmacies, imaging centers, and hotels used routinely by visiting patients, which makes any same-week follow-up straightforward rather than improvised.
Best suited to residents of the West Coast, Mountain West, Southwest, and Texas, where a single nonstop flight into San Diego is common. Pacific and Mountain time patients also avoid a meaningful time change, which matters when a procedure day starts early.

Tulum
A Caribbean coastal setting that supports a slower recovery cadence, reached through Cancún or Tulum international airports.
- Fly into
- Tulum (TQO) or Cancún (CUN)
- Ground transfer
- Coordinated airport drive
- Time zone
- Eastern (no DST change)
- Typical stay
- 1–4 nights
Tulum is reached by flying into Tulum International Airport (TQO) or Cancún International Airport (CUN), followed by a coordinated ground transfer to the clinic and your accommodation. Both airports carry a wide range of nonstop service from the eastern half of the United States.
The practical difference is not the medicine, it is the recovery. Patients who choose Tulum generally plan to stay a few extra days rather than turn around immediately: quiet accommodation, walkable surroundings, and a deliberately unhurried pace after the procedure. For anyone whose protocol calls for rest and low activity in the days that follow, that pace is a feature rather than a luxury.
Tulum is also the more comfortable option for patients traveling with a partner who intends to stay for the full recovery window, since the surrounding area is built for longer stays.
Best suited to residents of the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Florida, and the Midwest. From New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, or Chicago, Tulum is closer than Tijuana, usually reachable nonstop, and keeps you effectively on Eastern time — so appointment times, family check-ins, and work calls do not shift.

What the Tulum facility can add on site
The core protocol does not change by location. What differs in Tulum is the range of supportive, non-invasive modalities available in the same building during the days around your procedure, when your program calls for them.
Photobiomodulation
Clinical light therapy delivered on site as a supportive modality alongside the primary protocol, used when the reviewing physician includes it in your plan.
Medical cold laser
Low-level laser therapy available in-clinic for targeted, non-thermal application during your stay rather than as a separate appointment elsewhere.
Biomechanics assessment
Movement and load assessment on site, which is useful when a case involves gait, posture, or joint mechanics that inform the recovery plan.
In-clinic IV administration
Infusions and supportive IV protocols are given in the facility's own suite, with clinical staff present throughout, not in an unrelated third-party setting.
Recovery environment on site
Quiet recovery space and wellness facilities in the same location, which is what makes a multi-day, low-activity recovery window practical here.
Extended-stay coordination
Because the surroundings are built for longer stays, scheduling across several days — including a companion staying for the full window — is straightforward.
Availability of any supportive modality is confirmed during your case review. Nothing listed here treats, cures, or reverses a condition, and none of it is added to your program unless the reviewing physician includes it.
